Hello,

Just wanted to let everyone know about a new group, the Workforce Advocacy Center, founded by a fellow advocate in New York. You DON'T have to be a NY resident to join or ask for representation - just someone with a felony conviction who has been denied employment solely based on their status. 

This guy is a personal friend of mine, very good at what he does, and specializes in former sex offenders (he is on the registry as well.) 

They filed their first lawsuit yesterday against the City of Oswego, which recently passed a law prohibiting felons from driving taxicabs.
