This story is all over the place. The headline says that children are dropped off at a sex offender's home, but goes on to say it was down the street. Then it says the stop has already been moved across the street. One of the parents says the ex-offender in question comes out and tries to talk to the children, but there is nothing in the story to back that claim. Also, the story fails to mention if there has ever been a case of a child being harmed at a school bus stop nor, if there has, whether the perpetrator lived anywhere near the stop. These are important facts to consider in discussing whether this is really an issue or not.

Agreed. Also if the parents are so worried about it why do THEY not step up and come to the bus stop to pick up their kids? Don't get me wrong I think child molesters are the scum of the earth but if you know there is one near your kids bus stop, go get your kid so they are not left alone. If you can't then ask someone you trust to do so for you. One thing I do agree with the bus company on is that there are so many offenders that move many times that it is near impossible to keep away from all of them. Which is kind of sad when you think about it.
