There is something to be said about " If you can't do the time, don't do the crime"

You apparently are ignoring the fact that those spoken of in the story have already done the time.

I am not ignoring anything. Everyone acts like this is new or something. No one seems to care about the kid who got charged with a FELONY when he was 19 or 20 and for the rest of his life he cannot:

      1. own a gun

      2. vote

      3. get a good job

      4. join the military

all because that felony will follow him for the rest of his life. That is how it has been for years. the funny thing is you can change your ways when it comes to stealing or what not but most doctors have said that certain sex offenders have a PERMANENT problem that keeps them offending over and over. So what exactly am I ignoring?

        The facts.
